UPDATE: SUPPOSEDLY THERE WERE ABNORMAL SOLAR FLARES IN THE DAYS BEFORE I POSTED THIS IN MID-MAY, WHEN THE SUN APPEARED TO RISE IN THE NORTH. IT TURNS OUT THE SOLAR FLARES MAY HAVE CAUSED THE MAGNETIC NORTH POSITION OF THE COMPASS TO SHIFT. IN MY RESEARCH, I FOUND SOME VIDEOS FROM OTHERS WHO EXPERIENCED SIMILAR OCCURRENCES IN THE PAST.
People from the west coast, midwest, and east coast of the United States, as well as around the world, have witnessed similar phenomena. There exists a wide variety of conjecture: from a pole shift to end times prophecy. I’ll admit I feel somewhat vindicated… Please feel free to add your own thoughts or experiences in the comment section.

- July 2, 2017: Many people are noticing the Sun being way to far to the North at sunrise and sunset. Has the earth tilted to the south moving the more severe weather patterns farther to the North?
- Our living room window faces due east and the sun used to come up in the spring and summer dead center…now it comes up about 10° to the North and sets in the South not the west. I wish more people would notice this..it seems so obvious.

I’m blond, and I admit I have my share of blond moments. However, can someone explain why the sun is rising in the north and setting in the south? It all began when I noticed a half moon hanging very low in the northern sky yesterday afternoon. When I looked to see where the sun was, I was stunned to find it at the 11:00 position on a normal east to west track. It was close to 4:00 PM!
As I pondered this phenomenon, I began to search for data and information while continuing to monitor the position of the sun. For nearly an hour there was no change. (Note: Because I was expecting the sun to move west in the sky, it appeared to stand still. In actuality, it was continuing to move in a southward arc.) It continued south and ended up setting at 185 degrees SSW, not the anticipated 292 degrees NNW!
This morning the sun was projected to rise at 5:44 from a position of 68 degrees east. Instead, the sun rose above the building across from mine, due north!
This from my makeshift research lab. Note the compass points north as the sun continues to move in a north-to-south direction at 9:39 AM.
Timeanddate.com shows the sun was due to rise in Jerusalem this morning at 5:44, positioned at 68 degrees East, tracking in a NW direction. It’s currently 5:00 PM and the sun has begun its descent. Unless something happens, I think it’s safe to say it will set in the south again. Is anyone else experiencing this phenomena?? Please comment below if you have anything to add to what I have witnessed.
POINTS TO PONDER
- In the above photographs, the sun is lemon-shaped.
- The “lemon” has turned 90 degrees between sunset May 12 and sunrise May 13.
- The half moon also turned 135 degrees as it rose between 4 PM and midnight.
- There is no mention whatsoever in the newspapers or on the street, of this phenomena. People are oblivious- going about their business.
- The US appears to be unaffected by the trajectory of the sun here. Isn’t this the same sun we all see?
